We were thrilled to be awarded the two titles of ‘Fire Safety Manufacturer of the Year’ and ‘ESG Company of the Year (Turnover over £10M)’ at the 2024 Fire & Security Matters Awards (FSM Awards), highlighting our dedication to fire safety innovation and sustainable business practices.
According to the judges, we were selected as Fire Safety Manufacturer of the Year thanks to our “ground-breaking platform [AdvancedLive] and clear commitment to safety and sustainability, backed by strong testimonials and market differentiation”. They said our approach “not only emphasises innovation but also reflects a deep understanding of customer needs and industry trends”.
We were also proud to have been recognised as ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Company of the Year, underscoring the great progress we are making to become a more sustainable business.
The judges commented that “the scale of [Advanced’s] impact and depth of integration of their sustainability initiatives into their organisation is impressive and are strongly tied to business strategy”.
We have implemented numerous initiatives to reduce our environmental impact including the use of 100% renewable energy at our UK sites, the minimisation of waste, and introduction of fully recyclable packaging. We have also digitised product manuals, and achieved a 94.5% reduction in delivery emissions to date. Our commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2030 further highlights our dedication to ‘Creating a safer, sustainable future’.
Antonio Telesca, Managing Director of Advanced, commented, “These awards are fantastic recognition within the wider fire and security industry of the excellent work we do and the high standards we are achieving – not only with our products and services but also in the increasingly important area of sustainability. Many congratulations to the Advanced team and sincere thanks to all our customers for continuing to choose Advanced – these awards also reflect the loyalty of our many partners”.
