Our team is honored to be recognised in The Zeelo Sustainable Supply Chain Award and The Procurement Award categories, underscoring our dedication to creating a safer, more sustainable future.
Our nomination for The Zeelo Sustainable Supply Chain Award highlights our extensive efforts to reduce our environmental impact. At Advanced, sustainability is at the heart of our operations. From installing electric vehicle charging points and transitioning to electric fleet vehicles, to adopting low-energy lighting and minimising plastic in our packaging, we have made significant strides in improving our environmental footprint. These initiatives are part of our broader goal to achieve Net Zero for Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030, demonstrating our commitment to sustainable practices across the supply chain.
In addition to our sustainability achievements, Advanced has also been recognised in The Procurement Award category for our strategic overhaul of purchasing operations in 2024. By engaging with the Halma group’s “Strength in Numbers” initiative, we moved from a transactional to a strategic procurement model, emphasising collaborative purchasing and strong supplier relationships. This approach has led to significant improvements across the full supply base.
The winners will be announced on October 28th at the Great Room, Grosvenor House in London. We are proud to be among the finalists and look forward to celebrating alongside our industry peers.
